Where clinically necessary our surgery offers NHS travel vaccinations, please see this info: https://www.nhs.uk/vaccinations/travel-vaccinations/travel-vaccination-advice/
Please note this service is not for occupational / business requirements, these queries should be raised with your employer.
Given the range of important work our nursing team provides we are only able to offer limited availability for travel consultations and immunisations. Please call or submit an online request in good time (at least 6 weeks in advance, however even then our appointments may already be filled up). If we are unable to offer an appointment in time then we can still send contact details for private travel consultation providers to seek an alternative option.
The following guidelines should be noted:
- The surgery's travel clinics are ordinarily held on Friday afternoons, we are unable to facilitate travel appointments at other times;
- Family / travelling groups of registered patients can be seen together, however a longer appointment will be required so it may be more challenging to find an appropriate slot;
- Each traveller will be asked to submit a separate travel risk assessment form (even for families). We must insist on separate forms as these will be attached to individual medical records.
